The draw for the Miami Open was made on Sunday March 15 and paired Raducanu with either Sonay Kartal or Peyton Stearns in the second round.
If Kartal, ranked 54 in the world, wins in the first round, it will set up a clash between British No 1 and the British No 2 on Thursday March 19 or Friday March 20.

In the WTA rankings, Raducanu sits at No 24. Her career-high ranking was No 10, back in July 2022.

Raducanu announced she ended her partnership with Roig, who helped Rafael Nadal win 16 of his 22 Grand Slam titles, after less than six months together.
